Showell Elementary School

The new Showell Elementary School is a replacement building that was constructed on an occupied site while the existing building remained operational. The design and construction of the new school was done through a highly collaborative process with the Showell community, teachers and staff. The size of the new school accommodates students in grades Pre-K through 4th grade, where previously the 4th grade was located at the over-crowded middle school. Innovative design and construction was implemented through the installation of an overhead glass door at the stage to facilitate indoor and outdoor use.
