George Cromwell Elementary School

George Cromwell Elementary School was an addition and renovation project to an existing school in Anne Arundel County. The project consisted of two construction phases. Phase 1 of the project was a 35,200 square feet addition, and included new mechanical and electrical rooms, new gymnasium, cafetorium, and support space. After construction of the addition, the rest of the school was renovated, including all classrooms. The existing cafeteria/kitchen was turned into the school’s new media center. The school remained open to students during construction. Oak worked with the Owner and design team to successfully phase the construction to not disrupt school operations.
